Anyone been recently? AIBU to be apprehensive about tomorrow's visit. The reviews on Tripadvisor are terrible.
I didn't book it, my sister booked it !

We went last year during the easing..... The zoo area is less quiet, the mask wearing and social distancing were very hit or miss. We seemed to be in the minority with wearing masks and leaving gaps.

Our kids weren't quite 4 so we spent the whole time in the kiddie bit or zoo bit.... We did a few kiddie rides before retreating to the zoo for the majority of the day.

Kids loved it, I'd go again for them.

We went yesterday. What do you want to do there? Zoo, rides or both?

We found that there wasn't a lot of middle of the road rides. All the rides were either super fast (which my family aren't overly interested in) or for really young children. We only went on 4 and had to queue for 45 mins for 2 of them.

We found that there wasn't a lot of choice of places to eat as a lot were still closed (I can only assume its because they've not employed enough staff to have a full service) so again we queued for a good 30-45 mins there as well. The gift shop at the end was also another big queue.

However, the zoo was fab which was our main reason to go TBH. We did think about just visiting a wildlife park or a zoo, but the DCs decided they quite fancied the odd ride.

My 10YO loved it all, the older two (13 and 16) quite enjoyed themselves, but not overly so. Think it was nice to get out somewhere different TBH.

I've complained about their zoo and would never go again. The enclosures were far too small and filthy. The animals were dirty, lethargic and one walked with a bad limp. There was a frog or toad that looked like it had been dead for a while.

If I see this I will definitely report to RSPCA. Did you ?
