If we’ve got a positive LFT do we need to have PCR? Or can we just isolate for 10 days?

You need a PCR as the LFT might be a false positive - no point in isolating unnecessarily.

Ok thanks. The 3 people I’ve tested in the house are all positive.

The coronavirus topic gets a lot of traction and you could have put it was covid related in the title.

I also googled you question and this was the first result.

Yup. Drive through PCR for all of you

A family member dis mathematical formula (granted foe the same person taking LFTs and based on local county stats) but once you are getting multiple positive LFTs (so in your household you have 3, meh he didn't model that but dis for same person) there is a minuscule chance you don't have COVID.

Anyway once you get positive LFT you should book PCR Covid test to confirm. It's in the gumpf they send you when you register positive LFT result online

Ok thanks for your help everyone. Sorry 😢 if I’ve offended anyone not putting Covid in the title I properly should of just googled. Not thinking straight, got 2 poorly kids and not had any sleep, got a banging headache and just had a telling off from my work about it.

Hope it wasn't a positive PCR test OP snd that you don't have Covid. Or if you do that it's mild. Anyway , good luck

Get a PCR as it could be a false positive (not that likely but does happen).

Hopefully you’ll all make a speedy recovery.
