How did it get to this point? The neighbours say they heard quite a lot of abuse. It doesn’t state if it was reported or what involved SS had, but how the hell did it get to this point? The boyfriends father witnessed abuse. Either a) why didn’t no one report? Or b) why did not one intervene?

It’s horrific and it happens too often.

It's so sad , I bet some people will come on to defend those two ( poor upbringing, austerity , need a second chance etc etc) but personally speaking they should be put away for life. We know it won't happen though and the taxpayer will be funding them for a long time , maybe even with new identities etc :(
It's just awful what they did to that poor child.
Some people do not deserve to have children.

Priest's own mother contacted social services to voice her concerns. They did a brief visit where Priest claimed she was decorating, and that was it, nothing.

I know several social workers, they're beyond breaking point and they cannot adequately follow up every referral or concern they receive.

Austerity didn't kill that poor little girl, but had social services budgets not been cut so drastically, she may well still be alive today.

The family tried to intervene. They reported to social services. That isn't an assumption.

Social Services could, and should, have done more.

He's claimed his son was mixed up in all this like an innocent lamb.
His son asked this girl for money to buy a car she saved up 1000! He took 400 and pocketed it.

He also then promptly got stopped for dangerous driving with toddler abs baby in the car and he wrote this e Vile texts and was violent.

But yes it's awful op, however from those tick too videos I'm not seeing anything concerning

The social work system is beyond broken. Our local emergency contact line goes unmanned as they don't have the staff. Social workers are under immense pressure and unmanageable workloads. My social worker friend is dealing with reports that are 3 months old, such is the workload. In the three years she has worked for her current team she is the only remaining member of that team; there is constant churn.

Seek to understand = excuses

Now Apples child abuse scanning technology doesn’t seem so bad does it?
Seriously platforms like TikTok need to help catch these evil people who are killing their own children before it is too late.
