Annoying spam texts

Like this. I get about 10 or 11 a day, and during the night too. I've got an ill relative so I have to keep my phone on at night but these keep waking me up.
Obviously I don't open them and just delete. I've phoned sky mobile but there's nothing they can do because it's different numbers each time. It's driving me mad!

They can't even spell!!

Can you put it on do not disturb but let phone calls go through? I have it like that for emergencies.

I would be changing number tbh

On my Samsung I can set do not disturb to allow calls from certain numbers. Can you do this?

There are free apps like hiya which can block numbers and you can add numbers to.

The reason for the misspellings is so they don't waste time on people smart enough to figure out it is a scam. Also possible a crude attempt at evading key word based spam filters.
No point blocking them, the numbers are random and spoofed.
The networks have more routing info and could likely restrict access to their network to the originating source if they wanted, but they don't.
Changing your number won't do much either as many of these just spam sequential blocks of numbers and hope for the best.
If your on Android, the newer Google messeges app detects these and sticks them in a spam box without alerting you, so you could try swapping your txt message app to that one.
