We are moving house, we exchanged on our current house a few weeks back and are moving at the start of September.
We are moving back to my home town (I think this is a theme from lockdown!) which is 7 hours from where we are now up in the North. I’ve pushed for the move, it’s all my doing but the last couple of weeks since we exchanged I’ve been really panicked, not able sleep properly, creating scenarios where we end up hating the new house, I feel so sad at leaving where we live even though I’ve only lived here for 8 years.
We are moving to be close to family since having our children who are still a toddler and baby age.
I don’t know if I regret my decision or if it’s normal to be this anxious about the move?
I have already decided as soon as we get there, if we hate it we can just sell up and move back. Which seems mad because we haven’t even moved yet.
I don’t know if this is a normal reaction to a big change or is it more than that?
