Trying to rebuild social life slowly, in particular for the kiddos (age 11 and 9) so liks to get out and do something out of the house and perhaps out of town every day, sometime planned in advance sometime spur of the moment style ! So when relatives ring and ask to visit am I made to feel terrible and guilty that were not going to be in(at a time to suit them-retired) Aibu

Can’t too arrange a time in advance for them to visit?

*Can’t you

What are they actually doing to make you feel terrible?

HilaryBriss · 09/08/2021 21:43

Depending on who it is, I think you should probably make a bit of time for them, surely you don't need to go out/out of town every day for 6 weeks!

Would you be happy to see them if they rang and asked to book something in advance. If so, YANBU,
