Isolation - help.

So I positive on a lateral flow, confirmed by a PCR and isolated for 8 days so far. DH was testing negative for the last week despite living together, sleeping together etc.

DH has just tested positive today on a lateral flow and has sent off a PCR to confirm.

Does my isolation start again? Or am I free to go back to work etc after day 10?

You're fine as long as your symptoms have gone

Your DJ starts with a new 10 day period.
You are free after your 10 days if your symptoms have passed.

DH starts his isolation again from date of test (unless he had symptoms prior - in which case, from date of symptoms)

You end your isolation on the original date, provided you are fever free for 48 hours beforehand.
