To be so pissed off?

I'm immunocompromised, but did not have to shield. I had COVID earlier this year and was very unwell, the paramedics came out upping advice from 111 but I wasn't hospitalised. I've had my first jab.

DP is currently living just over 90 miles away and is coming home tomorrow for a few days, I was meant to drive and pick him up, this was all agreed. I have woke up today with a headache, cough and sore chest when I breathe in.

He asked me why I thought I had COVID, I told him my symptoms and his only response was "fuck sake I'm going to have to get the train." It has really pissed me off. I replied sarcastically saying "I hope you're okay andromedana" and then he said "I hope you're okay, what's the result?" This was all via text btw.

I think I am probably overreacting but I don't feel like speaking to him. I don't know what to say, or to say anything at all!

Regardless of the illness, I wouldn't have agreed to drive 90 miles to pick him up and then 90 miles back. Let him get the bloody train

It would be in the OP's interest though. If he just took the train he might pick up Covid and then pass it on to the OP.
