Is Moon and Me magic?

We don’t normally use screens anytime near bed, but today for various reasons I put Moon and Me on for the first time.

My almost 2 year old normally takes ages to go down. Lots of stories, breastfeeding, cuddles and so on. Today after watching the show, we brushed her teeth and then she climbed onto my lap and dropped off still upright, giving me a cuddle.

The only thing I can think that was different is I didn’t turn any overhead lights on, not even in the bathroom to brush her teeth.

Is she just especially tired tonight or is that show witchcraft?

Lighting strongly affects sleep. Having dim lights always helps. But saying that...I don't know Moon and Me but I do know that some words when combined, do have an effect on people's minds.

So if Moon and Me is written to help kids sleep, then it could indeed be the writing.

My DH is genuinely freaked out by Collywobbles the clown lol.
I think it’s a magical show. 😀

When it came out there was lots of snooty comments about how it had been brainstormed by a group of TV types working to a formula.
Well, they clearly know their mr onions because its like crack for toddlers. And it has Michael buble singing a horsey song. Genius

It’s magic.
I swear it has subliminal messages or something 🤣

I love that programme. The theme tune and the narrator’s voice make me all tearful (in a good way!)

My almost 6 year old hates it. My baby isn't fussed thankfully.

I find it at turns magical, terrifying, & deeply dull. My toddler loves it for a few episodes.
It is relaxing in a cultish way.

We love Moon and Me! Especially Mr Onion. A man of simple joys. “Onions!”
