To ask what the tinder flame

In the notification bar means. Ive been getting close to someone for 9 months and it's been abut bumpy. I'm aware he's met someone of tinder when we were not talking for a few weeks. He doesn't know I know.

We had a lovely night last night and had sex for the first time. He sent me a screenshot this morning and there's a flame in his notification bar at the top.

I've never used tinder so can someone tell me what that means when that appears. He's told his family about me now and he seems serious. I don't want to ask as the picture was an hour ago and i would have needed to say then.

Help.

It could either mean he has received a new message from an existing match, or someone he's previously swiped on has now also swiped on him, or it could just be a Tinder notification encouraging him to use the app.

OK perhaps I need to ask him I guess being honest is important. Thank you.

Did he say why he was sending you the screenshot?

@Dropdeadfred2

Did he say why he was sending you the screenshot?
I agree I think this could be suspicious as in he could be playing mind games with you. Has he done anything else to make you feel insecure? But it could also be an oversight on his part, but either way it means that he has Tinder active on his phone

He said him and his workmates did a challenge ages ago and whoever got the least had to buy a round of drinks. Said he still has an account he thinks but doesn't have it on his phone.

We were not particularly involved from March to May. But he must have the app or he wouldn't get the notifications.

Are you 100% it's that logo? It looks similar to a rain drop which could be used by a weather app or a flame symbol used by an energy company.
