And the price of groceries has gone up a lot as well?

It always amazes me when people are surprised that grocery prices have increased!

I haven't noticed with uniform tbh. I bought DD's from MnS in the July sale and it was just over £100 all in. We also had to get school jumpers from the outfitters but those were about £12 each, which is reasonable.

I have looked online at what I need to buy DS for school and it's pretty much the same as normal. Any increase is because he needs a bigger size now.

Just looking at website for high school uniform. A tie last year was £4 they are now £5.50. I think that is a ridiculous increase. The only squash my children drink (supermarket brand) was £1.20 or £2 for 2. Now it is £1.50 a bottle. These 2 examples are indicative of huge hikes. Could be supply chain or possible import taxes. Someone somewhere cashing in.

Not noticed it in school uniforms but in petrol most definatly and my supermarket shop has increased by just over 20.00 on same standard things and certainly gas and electric bills seem to be sky rocketing but having said that who knew the heating and dryer would have to be on in July and August?!
