To wonder if GP hasn't completed the process?

I put in a request for a couple of repeat prescriptions yesterday. Our surgery uses Systemone and you select which meds you need from the list, then click on request medication. Then later on, it shows up on the bit where you request it as "status: issued". You can also click on the "outstanding" page to check the status and normally once it's showing as issued on the first page, it will say "script has been sent to pharmacy".

This time however, it shows on the first page that they were issued yesterday, but the other page, the status still stays "script has not yet been signed/printed".

Our surgery is currently mostly self isolating/working from home so I don't want to cause any extra work for them by phoning to ask about it but just curious as to whether they've not completely finished the process or if it's perhaps different if they're working from home 🤔 Just wondered if anyone has any experience of using this system?

It's not urgent, I was giving more time for it to be processed knowing how understaffed they are but just wondered if anyone has any experience of this before I chase it next week.

Hmph, I ended up downloading the app that it mentions at the bottom of the homepage and it says its been done as a paper copy and needs to be collected from the surgery 🙄

Sometimes eps (electronic prescriptions) go down therefore it's had to be done on paper. The alternative is not doing it at all.

@RuthW I was just wondering if anyone knew anything, not complaining. I just didn't want to give them extra work by phoning them when they're short staffed, if it was something that was going to appear at the pharmacy if I waited a few days. I do appreciate them doing it.

That usually means it hasn't been digitally signed yet. So the prescription clerk has issued it and it's in the GPs inbox waiting for approval.

GP might have left early, might have been backlogged etc. guarantee more than likely will be completed by today, you definitely were not complaining, instead just curious , if it isn't completed by end of today call tomorrow x

If you don't want to phone the doctor's surgery why don't you phone the pharmacy and see if it's arrived there?
