DH blaming pregnancy symptoms on covid

(DISCLAIMER: I take LFTs 3 times a week for work. Understand you should take a pcr for symptoms etc)
I'm newly pregnant. I've felt exhausted, a bit nauseas, haven't really fancied any food etc. I've mentioned it to DH in passing a few times and each time he has suggested it is covid and I should take a PCR. He's actually annoying me as there isn't anyone else I can mention it to and I don't want the extra worry of might it be covid, just for a bit of sympathy. Aibu?

YANBU! This is such a difficult part of pregnancy and you definately need sympathy and lots of care, not extra worry! I never even thought to do a Covid test with the same symptoms. It’s may continue to get worse so if you feel up to it I’d tell him how you feel, that you need his support, which doesn’t include being told to take a PCR Confused

I’m so sorry you’re unwell. It’s really really shit. I know you didn’t ask advice on this, but don’t feel guilty taking time off work sick if you can. You can also go to your GP for meds if you want or a sick note Flowers

YANBU - funny story, last September I went and had a covid test because of being exhausted etc like the OP and a colleague isolating, but turned out that I was pregnant Grin
OP early pregnancy can make you feel so poop, hope you get some sympathy Flowers

YANBU! My husband was never actually a dick about it, but in my first pregnancy I used to send him links to articles about symptoms at various stages and be like “ah! I’ve had X, Y and Z, good to know it’s normal” so he’d understand the toll it takes.
