It's extremely difficult to get in to the doctors around here and long waiting times on 111 so I hope nobody minds me asking but I'm a bit worried.

I've had blood in urine loads of times before, to the extent that it seems to be 'normal for me, but it's microscopic. Not like this.

I seem to be dehydrated, I'm thirsty and when I had a blood test the nurse couldn't get any blood out, though I do drink a lot of water. However the last few days I've been needing to go more often particularly at night.

This afternoon I also have strong stomach cramps.

I'm 4 weeks pregnant, but I've been pregnant before and didn't have this. I don't know if it's a miscarriage as I'm not actually losing blood.

Mumsnet, do you have any advice please?

Can you phone your GP or even Nhs 24? You may have a urine infection. As You are pregnant I think a doctor would want to see you. Hope you get on ok

Phone your midwife if you have one already?

It doesn't look particularly shockingly bloody but definitely needs looked at!

Thank you both. I don't have a midwife so yes I'll try the Dr again tomorrow.

Phone 111. You could have a bladder or kidney infection that might impact on your pregnancy. Hope all ends up well!

Mine looked like that when I had kidney stones. Definitely see a doctor.

Jesus, that urine is so dark, get seen as a matter of urgency.

111, now.

Well blood in urine is not normal ever so your kidneys need some looking at and a uti needs treating would be my guess. So I would suggest medical help tonight. You have pain and are clearly losing blood. That's an emergency.
