When you have a teen swan out and dump a week's worth of washing in the laundry basket, and a stack of dishes that has been languishing in their room for the last month, just as you've got to the bottom of the laundry to be done, and just as you're about to deep clean the kitchen?!

Flames, little flames, burning. . .

erm - so you get the teen to put their washing on, clean their dishes and make you a cuppa to drink while you wait - no need to get so cross

It wouldn't have happened in my house. I was a LP (widowed) and from around 9 my children pitched in. Time for your teen to do the same.

I hear you. So frustrating. Even when the said teen does sort their own stuff out, I find the fact they are working to their timetable not mine very frustrating. Maybe I shouldn't, but unfortunately I do.
