So my daughter got Covid at camp. She I had symptoms from the Thursday but when I spoke to the NHS I told them she had had symptoms since the Friday, as she wasn’t with me when I was on the phone and I made a mistake. So NHS has told us to isolate till the end of Tuesday. my daughter has been in her room since Saturday.

Would you stop isolating at the end of today, or at the end of tomorrow as suggested by the NHS?

Are her symptoms gone op? If so I'd just let her out. X

If it was 'pinged by the app' I would let her out no question, but for the sake of one more day, no, keep her in.
Track & Trace is law. The NHS app is advisory.
Been in the same position with dates - my friends daughter tested positive before us but without symptoms, meaning they could only take a date from her pcr. My daughter had symptoms so her quarantine started earlier.
So my friend, who having tested positive before us, had an extra 2 days to stay in.
My daughter was still testing positive 2 weeks later on a lateral flow despite feeling fine after 2 days.

Oooh just re-read, I would definitely let her out of her room - just not out in general.

Did she have a test? Surely you'd have the results by now?
