picking up the dog poop

I stayed with my friend this weekend. We both have a dog. Both dogs went out into the garden and did a poop. I picked my dogs poop up, but her dog did a runny poop in several dumps. She was cross that I didn't pick her dogs poop up.

Who is out of order? Me for not picking her dogs poop up? Or her for expecting me too?

I would have picked up all the poo if I was out there anyway. But it is her dog and her garden. She should not be expecting you to clear up after her dog, especially if it has the shits.

If I was already poop scooping I probably would have just done it since it was out there tbh. Same as if I’d ate some toast and she ate some toast I would wash both our dishes not leave hers. If I was the host I would probably raise an eyebrow that you didn’t pick it up but wouldn’t say anything. Seems like a petty argument.

I would have picked it up in the circumstances you have described .

It’s definitely different / easier when it’s your own dog 😁 But regardless of whose dog produced it, I hate finding it cold…

I don't mind picking up another dog's poop as long as its fresh. Cold poop is the worst.
If I was staying at someone's place I would pick their dog's poop if I was around when the poop occured.
