A father in a playground today made a comment about his son (I assume it was his son, but may have been step son or similar) which made me feel a bit sad for the little boy, who was 6/7.
The boy was on the roundabout in a playground, and I was with my child, stood watching (she is v young). The presuned fsther comes over and says "oh sorry, is he being a pain?" I replied, "no of course not", and the man said oh he has a tendancy ti be. The poor boy obviously heard this. The man also had a younger and older daughter who he seemed quite different with.
Don't know why I am posting really, I just felt sad for this little boy's self esteem hearing things like that about himself from a family member :(
