This morning I was breastfeeding my baby, sitting on my sofa minding my own business (baby had fallen asleep about 10 mins prior and I hadn't yet put my boob away as sometimes doing this disturbs her sleep... anyway, not that I need to explain since I was in my own home).
All of a sudden I heard a sort of bang outside - looked up and there's a random bloke stood there (inside our front gated area), looking up at the house and setting up some ladders. No knock at the door, nothing - he just appeared.
For context - we live in an old Victorian style house with bay window at the front - I always have the blinds drawn on the main part of the window and the side that faces the street when I'm feeding downstairs, but the part on the other side I don't bother because you'd have to come into our front gate and go right to the corner of the house (next to the fence) to see into the front room. This is basically what this man has done.
I can only assume the landlord has sent him to do some repairs (the drainage needs sorting), but he didn't say which day this would be happening (just vaguely that he would "sort something"), and also should this man not have knocked first to inform the tenant of his presence and his plans?
Just took me a little by surprise - I don't know whether or not he saw my breast but surely that's not the point? Feels very intrusive ...
