shove their phone so far up their arse if it makes that annoying noise once more. Do people really need the constant alert on their phone when sitting on a train ????? Or is it to make them seem important and busy and popular ????

The issue is that if you put it on 'do not disturb' you miss everything. I can easily filter out noise, so I might not appreciate how annoying it is.

Wear headphones and you won't hear people or their phones,in public..

I don’t understand why anyone has their phone on loud when it’s in their hand. Then again I can’t remember a time when my phone wasn’t on silent/vibrate.
