To not want dirty shoes on a carpet I've just cleaned

This morning I spent an hour on my hands and knees cleaning the rug in the living room that sits on top of the laminate floor. I'm almost 7 months pregnant plus have pelvic issues and SPD so it wasn't a quick job.

OH was just getting ready to take DSC home and decided that the middle of said rug was a good place to have them sit and put their shoes on, dirty shoes I might add which they'd been out in the rain in earlier - rather than standing on the laminated areas or god forbid near the front door.

I said to OH can you not put the dirty shoes on the carpet please I've just cleaned that.

Instead of responding to me he passively aggressively said to DSS "you'll be fucked if you need to go to the toilet then" implying it's not possible to walk around the bloody carpet. Making me a bad guy needlessly.

Cue DSS whining "owwwwwwwwwwwww" as though he would be deprived of access to the toilet if he needed to use it before leaving, which he didn't btw.

OH has really got my back up.

I'm hormonal so do you think AIBU?
