Following on from the fascinating thread about canteens, where's the best place to buy vintage tea sets?

Charity shops and ebay.

Flea markets, vintage fairs, second hand shops and Ebay. At least that's where I've bought mine from.

auction houses always lots in there and good prices too

I second auction houses. That's often where people selling them gave acquired them from. If you're after a pretty, vintage set rather than a valuable, antique one, check out the general sales. The prices are often better their than at the antique auctions.
