Flea markets, vintage fairs, second hand shops and Ebay. At least that's where I've bought mine from.

I second auction houses. That's often where people selling them gave acquired them from. If you're after a pretty, vintage set rather than a valuable, antique one, check out the general sales. The prices are often better their than at the antique auctions.
