It’s my last day on Friday and there are some pieces of work that I created that I would find useful in future. Im not going to a competitor so won’t be used directly but more as a template /reminder.

Obviously I’m aware that the rules are that you shouldn’t do this.

I don’t want to email them to my personal folder or upload to a usb as that can be tracked. But can a wetransfer be tracked easily!?

Be very careful - in a previous role we almost had someone interviewed under caution for transferring sensitive files

Sorry we had them interviewed - they were almost arrested

I work in the City and external emails especially to personal accounts are routinely checked for all employees especially if there are attachments. USB access is blocked and no webmail or similar is allowed.

I know of one case of someone who was moving to a competitor who sent useful emails home when she resigned. It was picked up and her prospective employer informed. Some industries like Financial Services and Law are hypersensitive about data for obvious reasons. They are also relatively close knit so behaviour like this could shut you out from the industry if it is found out.
