Took dog to groomers today, whilst I was waiting to go inside a woman was kicking off shouting saying that they had scalped her dog and made her look stupid.
The groomer was showing the owner the matts that had come off (think of a sheep fleece! It had come off in one!)
The woman just wasn't listening that her dog had clearly been matted. (And was allegedly told when leaving). She just kept yelling she wasn't matted! (Dog clearly was from the hair).
Anyway, I tried to help and said that it's just fur and it'll grow back, and my dog too had to go short as it had got too much during the first lockdown.
The poor groomer may well have been talking to a brick wall.
AIBU for having said something? I just felt so bad, there was obviously not much that could have been done to save the coat.
