Hi, have a few days off work and was planning to do the natural history museum with DD ( into dinosaurs of course) but have left it too late to tickets so was wondering about the science museum instead? We're in Kent so it's a bit of a day out. She's been to the local museum and loves it so has some exposure

Thanks

Yes but you need to go to the paid wonderlab part, she'll love it

So good idea/ back idea/ recommendations etc please and thanks!!

Took my kid to both science museum and natural history museum at a similar age. The science museum was much better - much more interactive and varied.

The Science Museum is much better as it's more interactive and hands-on! It's great fun :)

Yes. Mine always preferred it to the Natural History Museum. I think the area in the basement is The Garden. Mine loved that, and the Pattern area.

Thanks so much- booking right nowSmile

The science museum was the first one in London to do interactive things. I think she'll love it!

BEST DAY EVER! Thanks everyone- garden and pattern were fully booked but TBH it was almost impossible to extract her from the wonderlab (properly sad and tearful about 'mummy taking me away from the fun')
