Anyone else disappointed with the Tatton flower show?

I know it's covid and all that but I'm really disappointed with this year's offering. Seems to be steadily declining year on year.
It used to be really educational but now it's all the same old tat for sale and loads of overpriced burger vans.
No real variety of plants either really, unless you love grasses, allium and giant thistles.
I miss the heady days of the Emirates Airlines displays, heritage tomatoes and fruit trees.

I enjoyed it, I agree it was more sparse but put that down to Covid uncertainty.
I always enjoy the school garden entries, community gardens and young designers. I didn’t quite understand the mannequins covered in flowers.
The country living sponsored market stall were a bit pointless, expensive tat.

I felt the young designers weren't up to much at all. Nothing "wow" or innovative. Several breeze block structures that looked like public toilets. Would have loved to have seen more emphasis on rewinding.
Agree that the schools entries are always sweet, the best bit for me was seeing the babies having their photos taken in the H of the RHS sign, and the waiting crowd cheering them on. Grin

Rewilding, not rewinding.
