What the hell is wrong with him?

I told him if he really wants to leave then just fucking leave. In fact, I showed him the way out. Ten minutes later he's STILL banging away against the closed part of the open window. WIBU to get the insecticide out?

Turn off the lights. The either cover the bits of the window that aren't open, or stand holding a torch at the open bit.

Also, have you made a large 'WAY OUT' sign with an arrow?

TheFoundations · 24/07/2021 23:52

Don't kill him unless you are absolutely sure that you will never be trapped anywhere yourself, unable to find the exit. Because if you are, and you killed him, you will think of what happened to him and your anxiety will go through the roof.

I was chatting to my elderly neighbour on the doorstep when my 4 year's voice came sailing out of the living room: 'Daddy, look - a fly! Peace off, fly!' The shame.

I haven't. I realise that this means I haven't clearly communicated my needs and expectations. In my defence, AAARRRGGGHHHH A WASP!!!

Eek! I will never kill again.

Probably.

Blimey I need to have a word with myself clearly don’t I?

Your no-nonsense approach is admirable @CCC1 Grin. If you ever need to have a word with yourself, you're the perfect person to do it!

A wasp? I hope it's gone. I hate them but I won't kill them. It can be very stressful.

I had a pigeon come in, once. That was traumatic for everyone involved, apart from the dog, who, I'm sure, regards it as a life highlight.

@beastlyslumber that was me being polite! And you reference killing bees above. But fuck the insects, maybe extinction is best for humanity, what is left can get on better without us.

What are you on about? I said nothing about killing bees or making insects extinct or any such thing.

It was a light hearted thread about a wasp that wouldn't go out the window I'd opened for it (because I don't kill insects, I open windows for them.) Just trying to have a laugh, sorry you don't have a sense of humour about it.

What? Op was clearly being lighthearted. Perhaps re-read the op again? Confused
