AIBU to remove that door ?

Two doors into the frontroom. Have had quotes fo fully remove the wall and create a open plan into kitchen but that won’t be for a while. I’m tempted to shift furniture and take the door off and open the two entrances back up … space is limited in frontroom

Or move the furniture and open the space

It's a good way to test put the open plan idea imho

I would just block it off completely. If space is an issue then opening up the door will just create more problems. We had two doors in our living room too, one to the front door hall and one into the kitchen/back door, was a complete pain in the ease so we boarded it up. Now furniture fits perfectly and the dc don't do my tits in running round and around
