Neighbours

Why does good weather turn good neighbours into inconsiderate ass holes? I know everyone wants to enjoy the sunshine but ever since it got nice there has been one party after another on my street. Loud parties going on well into the early hours. I'm honestly not a party pooper and don't mind the odd party but this has been 2 weeks of constant noise. BTW its several different neighbours not just one person.

My neighbours to my left have taken to sitting at their front door all day talking loud and playing loud music. We live in terraced houses with no front gardens, so her front door is directly beside my sitting room window. I have to choose between keeping my window closed and boiling alive or opening it and listening to constant racket. We have decent back gardens, I really don't know why she can't sit back there?

There's loads of other issues too petty to mention and I could get over if it wasn't for the constant bloody noise winding me up.

Its usually a quiet street.

Anyone else's neighbours pissing them off right now?

It's probably the combo of restrictions lifting and it being nice weather. I feel for you though!

If it's usually a quiet and considerate street, I'd put it down to the celebratory mood some people are experiencing with the lifting of restrictions. Presumably, sitting at the front allows your neighbour to chat to people passing. I feel for you but would expect it to pass and return to normal in time.

Building works. Big building works. Noise, dust, access issues and a total lack of ability to see that it affects us.
