To rip this bleeding coil out?!

I went on the IUS coil last July and for some reason I cannot lose weight

I’ve been on diets, even not eaten through tonsillitis and it’s just piling on. My period has stopped completely however I still get symptoms and sometimes random bleeding.

Has anyone else had the IUS coil and ended up with weight gain/difficulty losing weight

I had the POP pill too and was the same x

I would get yourself on a list to get it removed ASAP and make the decision in the meantime. I’ve been having hell with my implant for the last 2 years and I wanted it removed last year, but due to Covid all appointments in my area were cancelled. I called to arrange to get it removed last month and I was told there’s a 4-5 month wait for implant removal. We have a 2.5 year old and we were considering ttc soon but it looks like I have to put up with being temporarily, involuntary-not fertile.

I put on weight with any hormones. I give up now. Managing menopause herbally and at least I'm not piling on the pounds uncontrollably anymore.

Ditch the hormones I say.
