AIBU to be tired of hearing my friend complain?

I probably am but there are limits.

A friend is constantly tired and reminds me of the fact at least ten times(not an exaggeration) when we're talking(online). She sleeps a lot. I have sympathy because it must be miserable but it isn't anything new and she won't go to the Dr, because she says they won't be able to help. I appreciate that sometimes people just to be listened to and that's ok but I am literally hearing at least ten times a day "I don't know why I'm so tired." And about the same number of "I'm so tired."

After many, many months of this my patience is wearing thin and perhaps if she saw a Dr she might learn why she's so tired.

YANBU

I'd totally blank it every time she brings it up.

YANBU. Tell her to get some iron tablets.

With DH like this, I tell him that he either sorts it out or stops moaning about being tired. And I'd say the same to any friend or colleague, especially after this length of time.

It's hard to get the push to make an appointment, and your friend is probably aware that if it isn't her iron levels that there's either a bunch of tests she will need but will have to fight to get, or she might be told it's M.E/CFS which isn't treatable.

I am that friend who moans about feeling fatigued or foggyheaded or in pain... I know why, but it took over a decade of trying, to get some answers, and I'm still finding more out.

You find out who your friends are when you go through something like this. But hopefully your friend is just low in iron or something easily sorted.
