Where has he put the bloody crayon??? Help me find it.

I've asked him but just toddles off babbling. I've moved the sofa and tables but cant find it. I know he'll find it and end up scribbling over furniture

Does he have turn-ups on his trousers? I once spent ages looking for a missing piece of DS's jigsaw. It fell out of the turn up on his trousers when I was changing him for bed.

The little hole in the side of the radiator! EVERYTHING gets posted in the radiator. It is the toddler law.

Oven gloves! We generally hang ours off the oven handle and found all manner of items inside them when our eldest was little.

Could be worse. Friend had ‘posh’ bare floorboards. Not so great when baby got hold of daddy’s wallet and posted all his bank/credit/work pass cards down the gap.
Think of the most unlikely place and there you will find the crayon.

When mine were small we still had video tapes and the flap on the front of the video player was just too tempting: lego, crayons, biscuits you name it.

Poor Blue Crayon here ended up in the grill pan and melted all down the front of the oven. That was in February. It's still a bit blue.

Have you got any bags or pots he could have filled up with bits and bobs?

I found a little handbag of mine in the playroom last week. It had inside some beads of mine that dd covets, a multi colour pen of her brothers that he doesnt let her touch, my old (broken) mobile phone she regards as hers, 3 duplo pieces including the highly valued duplo kitty, and the green tops off 2 strawberries

Inside a toy teapot, down the back of the sofa, inside slipper/shoe, in the cat/dog bowl, under the TV cabinet

My dd was a crayon eater, I had to stop going to crafty playgroup as she tried to eat the glue & paints as well.
Ds would eat sand the nappies weren’t pleasant the following day.

My money is that it's in the dog. That's where my toddler daughter put her entire box of chubby crayons.
Only realised when my dog started doing multi coloured poos !

It's been located!

It was wedged inside a monster truck in his toy basket. I must have thrown it in when I was looking for it.

I know it's not the biggest deal but LO has previously scribbled on a wooden ottoman and shelving unit and it took hours to clean off. He also likes to chew crayons when I'm not watching.
I did have a look in the radiator numerous times the though of it melting in there was causing me anxiety.
Oh and yes, I have read the crayon book people have mentioned.

I once found the, long missing, much searched for, tv remote hidden in a zipped purse, in a zipped bag, at the very bottom of the airing cupboard.

That was fun.

My dd hid a pencil aged 3 ish… proceeded to bring it out periodically and draw on walls. Took ages to find it
