To ask how I get Bleach out of a carpet?

Ive spilled gel for acne which is benzoyl peroxide on my carpet. Its a salmon coloured stain on my light grey carpet.
Is there any hope beyond claiming on my home insurance ?
Would a dye work?

You cant get bleach 'out' as it has taken out the colour from the carpet so the only hope would be to dye it which may make it patchy. Is it in a place you can put a rug? Or do you have any left over sections of the same carpet to repair it with?

Id claim on my home insurance and replace it if it was noticeable, and not bother if i could cover with a rug or a mat

Depending how big the mark is I would try a grey permanent marker. Should be able to find something in a fairly close match as they come in hundreds of colours.

Not sure what type of dye you’d be able to use on carpet as usually you have to wash dye out afterwards which could be awkward.

Maybe try a set like these to give you lots of options!

Do you have the same carpet inside a cupboard or somewhere else where it doesn't matter? Your best bet is probably to cut out a square around the 'stain' and replace it with a square of good carpet. There are online tutorials for this or a carpet layer will do it for you.
