to think yodel are crap

parcel out for delivery yesterday estimated time 16.30 to 18.30. still didn't arrive by 20.21 so i looked at tracking driver still had 21 stops to go. This morning its now saying delivered at 16.36. on the webchat they admitted his location was far from my address at the time. Still told me to check just incase someone toke it it despite the fact i was home. told me to contact them tomorrow if parcel is still a no show.
Whats the chances i will get my parcel?

YABU to thing Yodel are crap. They're fucking abysmal.

Your chances of getting the parcel depend on what they've actually done with it. If it's lost in their warehouse somewhere, it might turn up eventually. If they delivered it to someone else, it depends what it was and how honest the person who received it is. I'd return something delivered to me by mistake but even then it relies on Yodel to pick it up from me and redeliver it to the right address, which isn't guaranteed.

I don't knowingly use any company that delivers via Yodel or Hermes. They're too incompetent. Unfortunately you don't tend to find out until after you've placed the order.

I've stopped using companies that have yodel as a delivery service. Two or three times now I've had plants delivered absolutely smashed to bits, upside down in the box with no soil left in the pots. The boxes must've been kicked and chucked around the depot.
The companies always refund me when I complain so why do they keep using them?

A lot depends on your driver. My Yodel man is lovely, though I can see why he runs late as he is very chatty 😀
