To think the triangles are for standing on

Went to a class at my gym. Since Covid they have laid out markers on the floor - red triangles with two foot shapes on them. Previous instructor has always been very clear these are where we stand so we maintain distance.

So, set up as normal - bench in front of the triangle and me standing on it. Woman in front and to the side says “you’re too close to me” because she has set up with the bench on the triangle and is therefore stood too far back. I said “I think the triangles are for standing on”
“No” points to bench

The class isn’t full so I move rather than have an argument

Everyone else is stood on the red triangles

She also wore a fleece and hiking shoes for the whole hot and sweaty class.

AIBU to think she was wrong and is a bit odd?

Odd and not worth thinking about, as long as there is room. If she was doing something majorly wrong the instructor would step in, so it’s not your circus. Just stay far enough away not to catch the crazy and you’ll be golden!
