Hello! We are currently getting our garden landscaped which will be completed next week and will have taken 4 weeks altogether.
We have been very happy with the gentleman that owns the business from day one, we just kind of clicked and he's been so accommodating with minor changes we have had to make along the way.

His team are fabulous, they are on time and here all day, the work is so perfect and have given really good advice to help us get the most out of our garden.

I've been offering hot drink twice a day which they have always happily accepted. On hot days I have given cans of coke, ice creams and some days cookies or croissants.

I would normally just offer 2 hot drinks to anyone working in our house, but as they have been amazing I genuinely wanted to offer.

Soo tonight my husband and I were talking and we'd like to get the owner and the team a little something to say thank you.

What would best to get? My husband thinks to give beer or do a BBQ lunch because he says he knows as a man that's what they would want.

But is there anything else we could get that is thoughtful? Does anyone have any ideas please?

We have always done a box of beers and maybe some sweet treats on last day. Seems to be the done thing Smile

Yeah get them some beers. A bbq in their honour sounds a bit ott.

I agree with @FrankButchersDickieBow in that a BBQ sounds a bit OTT.

Someone needs to tell your husband that not all men drink alcohol Grin

Tbh the very best thing for most businesses is lots of positive social media feedback.

And perhaps a selection of cakes and biscuits for them to share?

I think, as a business, they would really appreciate a card, and a great review on their website and on social media. That kind of thing is priceless

Box of beers sounds perfect. Plus great reviews on social media.

A BBQ means expecting them to give up their personal time and stand around making awkward conversation.
