NC as could be outing and don't want it linked with other posts.

My son came out of self isolation yesterday (he's just done 2 back to back self isolations). Arranged to go to the zoo with my aunt and her son on Sunday. Booked and paid for yesterday.

A friend who works at my cousin's school told me that my cousin should be self isolating until Tuesday. I spoke to my aunt and she confirmed that but was very blasé about it.

I know people are done with self isolations etc and I don't judge people choosing to ignore the guidelines. But AIBU for being annoyed that my aunt didn't even tell me? We'll be well within the 2 metres, especially between my son and her son. Or is all the self isolation making me overreact? Thanks Smile.

Honestly if it's a bubble thing. I'd ignore it at this point.

Thanks! My only worry is him having to self isolate as a result as he's missed so much school! Smile.

For the sake of 2 days I'd let it go but if you're worried could they do a quick test at home before they leave?

I could ask her! Didn't want to sound ridiculous or that I was judging her, just my son can't deal with another self isolation and he's only got 2 weeks left of school 🤞. Thank you 😊.
