I had a laproscopy on the 24th for a dye test and to check for endo. Luckily no endometriosis was found but no dye test was done. No one spoke to me on the day as it was late. After scrambling to call I got a response, my consultant/surgeon I'm under was not the one whi did it as it was late. I panicked when the discharge notes did not mention dye test as I had read success stories.
I was told the following day after making a calls to 10 different people that it was because they had found some patches resembling TB so they did not want to spread infection. They removed a polyp in the neck of my womb and took a biopsy of leiomas and meimomas. I googled and found these are fibroids. The GP told me they are still investigating me as they want yo know why I have such a large number of these fibroids but everything g is benign.
As they mentioned tb I realised for many years I've suffered with severe night sweats, at least 3 years of these that I can remember. I am breathless and have had a cough. Not a bad cough, but a constant cough especially bad when I laugh.
Now it's been almost 12 days. The gp has referred me for bloods to check why I have night sweats. I got a text to tell me this after I had an appointment yesterday.
Here is my point that is really stressing me. I'm 39 and desperate for a baby but now I'm unsure of what to do with ttc. If I have tb shoulf I continue? And if it was was tb should the consultant not have rang me back? Can they check if the tb is active or latent? Am I unreasonable to think that theyve just said we found something that remsemes tb and then left me in the lurch?
I spoke to yhe consultant the next day after my lap high on codiene. I rang her secretary and she said they would ser me in 4 to 6 weeks.
I cant even know if I should continue ttc. The gp said ask your gyne. But gyne are not responsive.
