What the heck? Installation of broadband-dug up drive, spray painting and bloody mess left

I organised broadband connection supposed for tomorrow.
Last week someone spray painted a luminous green mark on the pavement outside the house partly on the wall. The water mains are supposed to be done. I was pretty possessed off they marked the wall but didn’t think much more.
Today I came home - someone has dug up the drive, installed a box on the front of the house (on the wall) cemented back over the drive and then put a thick green cable right across the gravel driveway and moved the gravel slightly over it but it still clearly visible above the ground - it then pops out and goes around the flower bed onto the road.

At NO time did the company say they were going to lay cables (!!!) and certainly not clearly visible - you can or will be able to trip over them. WTAF no email address (very well known company) to complain to - what the hell do I do? The cable is right across the gravel drive way and can be tripped over and it’s over 10 metres long - no consultation they were going to do this??

I’ve phoned them to be fair the guy I spoke to - I could have seen him sigh with a wtf look especially when he told me they should of asked and it wasn’t booked in until two weeks time and said the cable needed to be under ground etc he was pretty mortified and is sending an engineer in 48 hours but wtf how can they possibly think this would be ok??

It is terrible - I hope they "make good" the mess and offer you some sort of compensation
