Friend keeps sending suggestions to me

A new friend keeps messaging me with different adverts, for example job adverts (that are nothing like what I am looking for), adverts for new cars (I did mention I may buy a new car) and just random things for sale that she thinks I might want from Ebay and Amazon. I don't even answer her messages anymore. Am I being unreasonable for this to really annoy me.

Start doing the same back

She sounds lonely and desperate for your attention

Just tell her to stop?

Either being too helpful, just say thanks but I'm taking my time looking, I'll know when I'll find something I like. Or she has an affiliate program to earn commission. YABU it must be annoying!

This would piss me off too....if i want something im more than capable of doing the research myself..i would just ignore any future messages from her.

Tell her to stop. I've had to do this with people who WhatsApp me stuff every single day, and I suspect I'm not the only one. I'm on a list. I don't want it clogging my phone so it's a case of being polite but firm. Some people are so phone-addicted it's any excuse for them, to look up stuff to send around and around.
