Any legal eagles out there that can explain progress on this? Has it been amended at all? I'm super concerned about this bill and what it means for the freedom to protest.

Looks like it's at Report Stage, so it will be debate by the House of Commons and MPs can propose amendments.

Fingers-crossed it goes through unamended, I'd like to see a crackdown on violent and disruptive protests. Peaceful protesting will still be allowed, it's just police will be able to act against those who prevent others from exercising their right not to care and who just want to go about their lawful business.

Hmm, but the whole point of protest is to disrupt the status quo
