School issue-thoughts?

If your DC’s school continually said your dc was under the radar, how would you feel?
Whatever, the issue, bullying, educational, this has been the response. Any thoughts or experience?

Not sure what you mean? Is it than when there is an issue they say they are not aware of it?

InDubiousBattle · 05/07/2021 09:04

In what sort of context? Is this a teacher that has said it in response to you saying your dc is being bullied?

Hdhdjejdj · 05/07/2021 09:04

Yes. Pretty much that. It’s happened when there has been bullying (pretty extreme) and when talking about SEN.

I think it depends on how your dc feels about being under the radar. My eldest dc is very like this, he has never caused any issues at school, always done well academically but not the one that's always at the top and just flyes under the radar. However he quite likes that, he doesn't want the attention and is happy doing his own thing so it doesn't bother me anymore.

The bullying issue was resolved. It was quite extreme cyber bullying so couldn’t be denied by the perpetrators and the school (who were desperate to sweep it under the carpet). Subsequent to that there are SEN which have arisen (both DC). I am being told again they are under the radar.

That’s actually really helpful @LactoseTheIntolerant because it resonates.
