Please give me your recommendations- 11 months post birth/episiotomy it still hurts to use tampons and my intimina lily compact cup (quite a thick edged cup so not very flexible which might be my problem). I hate using pads!

There’s a newish one on the market called Nixit. You can buy on their website. Looks nice and soft and flexible, must sit higher up as one of its ‘perks’ listed is mess free period sex!

Maybe worth seeing your GP. I tore internally as well as externally, and the internal part did not heal. This was not at all obvious. The only symptom I had was that inserting anything inside me was painful. I had repair surgery when the baby was 8m old and it made a world of difference.

The Tulip Stem cup is the most flexible I've tried, also the MeLuna Soft version but that might be too soft.
