to be angry with my ex manager

Today I found out that my ex manager who has left the business told my colleagues about my illness I was diagnosed with. When I told her last year (when she was still my manager) I explained I didn't want my colleagues to know as I wanted my work life to be as normal as possible.
She went out for drinks with some of my colleagues and ended up telling them. I know I can't do anything about it as she doesn't work for the company anymore but I just feel so hurt.

That's really poor on your ex-manager's behalf, OP. I'm not an expert but if this was disclosed to her confidentially in a business context, and she's left the company and blabbed it, it's probably a GDPR breach although, as you say, since she's left, there's unlikely to be a great deal you can do.

Such a breach of trust.

You are totally within your rights to feel angry and hurt.

That’s really shitty behaviour from your former manager OP. Like you say, there isn’t much you can really do about it now, but YANBU for feeling hurt by it. Count your blessings that she’s no longer your boss I guess.
