Are there any jobs that don’t have two-faced or nasty people?

Does anybody work in, or has worked in a place where everyone is just genuinely nice and kind? I’m starting to feel like it doesn’t exist. I know we can’t get on with everybody but it just makes you dread going to work.
I’ve sometimes felt like people think they have a right to be rude to me for some reason. It’s maybe because I’m quite shy and lack assertiveness, but I sometimes feel like people speak to me in ways they wouldn’t speak to others.

I have met really nice people in each job, but it’s hard to escape the others. Honestly makes me feel like working from home.

In my current place I’ve only been here for 2 months and feel like I don’t really know people yet. A girl who started later than me apparently has quite a few staff on social media but I don’t have anyone. I can imagine that they talk about me behind my back as I don’t really fit in. Luckily some are really nice.

How do people deal with it? Thanks

I can't think of any occassion when anyone has been nasty to me at work, I'm sure that people have said things about me behind my back but that's life everywhere.

The most bitchy job was probably a Saturday job in a shop years ago although it wasn't ever directed at me. I find that if you are equally pleasant with everyone and make an effort to get to know them you can get along fine

If people are consistently rude to you it might to an idea to think about the vibe you're giving out

You need a job with strong bonus incentive or high pressure enough, where people don't have time to deal with that crap.

Or going up the ladder. When you become their manager, it's natural people bitch about you, but it's a work place, who cares.

For me, a "men environment" in a very busy workplace is bliss!

There are unpleasant people everywhere, but I’ve found that if you’re all very passionate about the work you do and believe in it , then the people tend to be nicer, or at least more in tune with your own values and beliefs, which for me amounts to the same thing.

Arseholes exist in every profession, though.

If its of any help I have a colleague who has everyone and her granny on social media but really why would you want to.

Accept that you're your own person and dont compare yourself to other people. Be nice yourself and never mind anyone else.

PS there's shits in every industry....
