Is this a faint line?

Hi is this a faint line or am I going crazy?

I got pinged from track and trace on Tuesday, I believe I had contact with someone with covid on Saturday. I did this test last night and thought i saw a shadowy faint line so I booked a PCR test for tonight but now I'm doubting myself. I'm isolating and have been since I was pinged.

Is this a faint line?

They've changed the guidelines so you can get a PCR test just by having had close contact with someone who's tested positive. I think if in any doubt it's worth going ahead with the PCR test Smile. And yes I do see a faint line but those tests are shite.

oo yes..the faintest of faint lines.

good luck, hope you are not positvie on pcr or get through it relatively unscathed.

Thank you for the replies. I'm definately going to get the PCR test this evening as planned and will 100% isolate anyway as I'm supposed to.

I was just wondering if I was seeing things because I'm double vaccinated and also have already had covid in January. Confused

A real sign of the times isn’t it? Looking for likes on Covid tests, rather than pregnancy ones.

I can never see a line so at least this time that’s a good thing.

How long did you leave it? Arent you meant to bin those ones after 30 mins due to evap lines confusing people

I read the result after 30 mins (set a timer) and it was like this then and has stayed the same since.

I've got slight hay-fever symptoms and last night I felt cold and then hot and glowing like I'd caught the sun but I hadn't been outside but no temperature. However I believe if you think about potential symptoms hard enough you could probably convince yourself you had covid on a weekly basis. Or at least I know I could Grin

To be fair, I opened this thread expecting to see a piddle stick! This is definitely a new twist on the old 'line eyes', isn't it!

OP, hopefully you're in the clear Flowers
