Has anybody’s child benefit not gone into their bank this month?

Just that. Mine was due into my account yesterday and I haven’t received it. Has anybody else had the same, or does anybody know why that might be? There is no reason why it shouldn’t have.

How old is your child?
If 16+, it might be that you need to declare that they are still in full time education. I don't know what month it stops when your child turns 16, but you do have to let them know they are still eligible to receive it, if staying in ft Ed. If this possible reason is relevant, you should have had a letter.

They sometimes withhold it to get you to contact them. When they first did this to me it was because they had no record of my new address. Second time was when my son turned 16.

This happened to my friend when her son was just leaving school this time last year She had to ring to say was staying on in full time education.

It was my fault. I wasn’t looking hard enough at my statement. They’ve change the way it’s labelled and I skimmed across. What a silly sausage I am.
