Just after some advice or experienced people can share.
I have called 111 waiting for a doc to call back out of hours.
I have been bottling up a few things. Mostly because I’m a worrier so I know I over think things therefore just wait until the worry passed instead of discussing it.
I’ve also just this weekend started my journey to give up smoking. Which Needs to happen. I’ve gone cold turkey.
I’ve got heart issues and under a specialist. Though not seeing him until a few years.
Today I just got really upset and stressed. I was really overwhelmed with several things I had to do.
Soon after there was this stabbing pain in the left side of my chest.
I’ve had this before but always thought it was due to me being caffeine sensitive however I haven’t had any form of caffeine for a few months.
The pain lasted no more than two mins. And it went away after I sat down and started to do breathing exercises.
Whilst I was in pain I was pacing around the house trying to calm myself down but it wasn’t working. It was just making me more upset. And the pain was responding to me being upset if that makes sense?
In the past when I’ve had these pains they’ve been in my sleep or at random times of the day but not when I’ve been upset or worried or not that I can remember being upset or worried.
Could this be anxiety / panic induced chest pain?
I’ve answered all of the nhs 111 questions and said no to pretty much all of the questions.
I do have a biscupid aortic valve and a slightly enlarged aorta .
I’m trying to think back to earlier on and I may have been holding my breath or breathing irregularly without intending to do so.
