ugh have had this on/off for a couple of months, was going to make a GP appt but all seemed to resolve, so didn't

however has now returned with a vengeance over the last couple of days!

Weird, bloated stitch like feeling on right side, there's no pain, but it's just such an unusual feeling it makes it hard to focus on other things. At night it's uncomfortable to sleep on that side. Lots of burping going on in an attempt to deflate myself.

Back last month I also felt at night I needed to pee all the time, and the bloated feeling was less focussed, it seemed all over an lower. Now it's definitely solidified itself to the lower right side. Absolutely no other symptoms.

TMI bit... BM all normal, however 3 days ok I did have some weird mucus/bloody discharge afterwards, had lots of v normal looking stools since so not sure if just a coincidence. It looked just like period type discharge but definitely wasn't that.

I hate this kind of stuff as I have health anxiety. I will now definitely make a GP appointment but just wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar? Am 30 YO, slimish, pretty good diet, no GI/gynae issues. Am my DFs birth partner (and she's already pretty much full term!) so want to make sure nothing gets in the way of supporting her through that.

As an aside I cannot believe @bloatymcboatface was already taken as a username Grin

The burping and stitch feeling sounds like when I had gallstones - it wasn’t always severe pain although did get that way as everything became infected

My husband is a Dr and if I told him what you just told me he say stop using Dr Google and go to a professional who has an actual medical degree. Please go and get this sorted at your GP a proper Dr would never comment on Facebook regarding people’s symptoms!

Cloverleaf20 · 28/06/2021 16:33

I mean mumsnet 😂 get it checked out, hopefully it’s nothing !

Lougle · 28/06/2021 16:36

You do need to get this checked out. The trouble is that your symptoms could be nothing or something and the something could be very simple or more complicated, so nobody can give you sensible advice other than see your GP.

What I can tell you is that if it is something simple, you'll be glad you went to the GP and got it sorted. If it's something more complicated, you'll be glad you went to your GP and got it sorted.

LoveFall · 28/06/2021 16:38

Get checked out. It could be nothing or it could be serious. Please make an appointment.

SinkGirl · 28/06/2021 16:41

Oh I totally agree you need to see a doctor but OP said she is making an appointment- I was just saying that yes, it could be something non terrifying. Definitely needs checking out though!

PurpleyBlue · 28/06/2021 16:44

See GP, they'll ask you a few questions, maybe prod you a bit and then you'll know either way.
