Any car booters on here, would you sell electrical items at a car boot sale

I've cleared out my late dads tools & am car booting them. I'm not selling any power tools, but have a hoard of extension leads, adaptor plugs, timer plugs. He was an electrician & knew what he was doing. However, I don't! They look in good condition, but I don't know how old they are, if they meet current regulations, they're not pat tested. It grieves me to just take them to recycling at the tip, but taking them to car boot sale puts a little niggle in my brain too, what if they weren't safe? Shall I take them to recycling at the tip or sell them at car boot sale stressing I don't know how old they are & they're not pat tested. I would hope anyone buying them would be able to get them pat tested

Just recycle them. No one who buys them for a couple of quid at a boot sale is going to pay for PAT testing.
I’d be imagining the news about a house burning down/injuries …….“ the cause of the blaze was an extension cable the householder bought from a boot sale”
